Forest hand Warriors bitter defeat

Kabwe Warriors were handed a 3-0 bashing by Forest Rangers in a week 26 fixture played at Railway Stadium today.

Forest went ahead through Gerald Chisha as early as the 6th minute pouncing on a goalkeeping error by Ugandan Cranes International Ochan Benjamin.

Ochan was to pick the ball from his net again with Damiano Kola striking from range to put Rangers 2 goals ahead in the 63rd minute.

Webster Muzaza sealed the win for Forest with a header in the 83rd minute, agony for the Magnificent People’s team who have now failed to win in the last 3 games.

Warriors had chances to score but the pairing of Nkonko Heritier and Okutu Emmanuel looked rusty and uncoordinated.

Nelson Maziwisa perhaps could count himself unlucky hitting the post with the game at 1-0.

Warriors drop into seventh position on the log following the defeat.
