Review: Chintu needs to recruit match winners

Chintu gives a post match interview after seeing his side suffer a 2 nill loss at Zanaco

The Magnificent Peoples team suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of defending champions Zanaco in a week 14 fixture played at the Heroes stadium.

The defeat compounds a difficult season for Chintu Kampamba and his technical bench in trying to come up with a winning formula. It has not been a good hunt for Kabwe Warriors this season with only one victory in 14 matches.

One would say it makes Warriors early relegation candidates. But not all is lost for the Peoples team. There is still light at the end of the tunnel.

Chintu Kampamba and his assistant Humphrey Malikoni have built a very promising young team and it is without a doubt that these players have a great future.

However, the team is still lacking in terms of firepower in the striking department and if Chintu Kampamba wants to leave a mark on the team, he must prioritise gettting strikers in the transfer window which opens in July.

What next for Warriors? Are they going to spend in the transfer window?
