Clement Mwape was once again solid at the back despite the loss

Kabwe Warriors fell into relegation waters after losing 1-0 at home to Forest Rangers in a week 3 fixture of the FAZ MTN Super League played at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium.

The Magnificent People's team didn't start all that magnificent in the early exchanges as once again striker Nicholas Mulilo was loooking isolated in a 3-4-3 formation that the technical bench have adopted from the start of the season.

Mulilo didn't get a lot of service in a game of few chances but he came close on 38 minutes, his shot went wide of the goal post after a neat through ball from William Njovu

The match into the break goalless but it was Forest who came out attacking in the second half.

Chintu made two quick substitutions with Jacob Phiri coming on for Lameck Kafwaya to make his first League appearance. Frank Chibuye also came in for James Chibwe but it was the visitors who took the all important lead in the 60th minute.

The Warriors defense failed to clear a freekick and Green Mumba hit the ball from 30 yards out to beat Lawrence Mulenga in goal

Jacob phiri came close to equalise on two occassions for Warriors but the keeper for Forest Rangers kept him out.
