Warriors come from behind to draw at Nkana

Kabwe Warriors came from 2 goals down to rescue a point against 12 times champions at Nkana in a week 10 MTN FAZ Super League fixture played at Nkana Stadium on Saturday.
Goals from Silon Jere and Lameck Kafwaya restored some joy for the Railway men who were heading for defeat.

Chintu Kampamba’s men were coming into the fixture as the only team that have not won any single match in the League so far.
Warriors were forced to make an early substitution suffered when right back Alfred Chirwa sustained a knee injury and was stretched off the pitch in the 20th minute with Levy Zulu coming on to replace him.

Nkana started the match stronger with a 25th minute Muwowo goal after the Warriors defense failed to clear the ball in the box from a corner.
The Magnificent people’s team went into the break trailing by a goal to nil and needing a reaction quickly.

The home side doubled their lead with Jacob Ngulube putting the ball past Lawrence Mulenga into bottom corner.

But the game wasn’t over yet for Warriors. Silon Jere pulled a goal back in the 55th minute with an audacious flick past Mapulanga.

Lameck Kafwaya scored the equalizer 10 minutes later with a well taken shot sending the Warriors bench into raptures of celebration.

The match ended 2-2 as both sides failed to find the winner in the remaining minutes.
