Warriors climbed to 13th on the FAZ Super League table despite drawing 2-2 against Green Buffalos at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

Warriors who led 2-0 through a Jacob Phiri brace were disappointed as Mike Katiba struck twice to deny the Magnificent People's Team a second straight win.

Despite the draw Warriors moved up the table to 13th with 12 points from 12 games and sit 8 points behind league leaders Power Dynamos.
Phiri put Warriors ahead in the 7th minute after an error by Buffaloes goakeeper Davy Kaumbwa to sent the travelling fans into a frenzy.

Warriors kept on pushing the game to the home side and were rewarded in the 55th minute, Jacob Phiri again tapping in a Tandi Mwape cross to double the lead.

Buffaloes pulled a goal back 5 nminutes later after a fine solo run by Mike Katiba in the heart of the Warriors defence. Katiba unleashed a  power left footed shot beating Lawrence Mulenga in the Warriors goal.

Warriors were on the back foot for most of the secon half and the pressure paid off for the home side, Katiba heading in from a corner to earn a point for the Army side.
