Alfred Chirwa was voted fan's man of the match on his debut for Warriors

Kabwe Warriors came from a goal down to draw 1-1 at Red Arrows in a week 4 fixture of the FAZ Super League played on Saturday 29 April 2017.

Warriors were looking for a reaction following the home loss to Forest Rangers and they nearly took the lead after George Quarshie's precise cross found an unmarked Lameck Kafwaya but he balooned his shot over the bar.

But it was the home side took an early lead from a Daniel Sibanda goal on 13 minutes. Lawrence Mulenga's poor judgement of Sibanda's corner kick caused the young goalkeeper to miss the ball only for it to got straight into the net.

Warriors rarely troubled Danny Munyao's goal as the home side constinued to dominate posession.

Chintu Kampamba obviously not waiting for the second half, made a strange substitution in the 40th minute withdrawing George Quarshie for Joseph Chanda.

Arrows went into the break on the front foot in the absence of their head coach Honor Janza.

Kabwe Warriors came flying in the second half with the young Alfred Chirwa almost catching Danny Munyao off his line from what seemed to be cross rather than a shot. The Arrows keeper was however quick to tip it over the bar for a corner. And from the resulting corner, Warriors equalised in the 46th minute thanks to Clement Mwape's header to beat Danny Munyao and claim his seconfd goal this season subsquently top scorer for the club.

Clement Mwape is now the club's top scorer with 2 goals

Both teams had chances to win it late on but it wasn't to be, Lubinda Mundia hitting the cross bar from 18 yards just after Joseph Chanda shot wide from a similar position after a neat cutback from Jonathan Manongo.

Jonathan Manongo came on in the second for Paul Simpemba and gave a good account for himself.

Points shared as Warriors remain on 18th position in the relegation zone.

Next up for Warriors is a home match against the sturbbon Green Eagles on 6th May 2017.
