Kabwe Warriors slumped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Nkana in a Week 29 League fixture played at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe today.
Warriors missed a catalogue of chances with Nelson Maziwisa and Emmanuel Okutu failing to hit the target in the early stages of the game.
Tabi Ekangue Jacques came close for Warriors in the 31st minute with a long range effort which went wide of Allan Chibwe’s post.
The first half was a cagey affair both teams failing to find the net in the first 45 minutes.
Cameroon midfielder Tabi Ekangue Jacques was stretchered off the field of play with an injury and was replaced by James Chibwe.
Walter Bwalya struck in the 69th minute with a header before Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba scored with a well executed volley to seal a three points for Nkana.
For Kabwe Warriors is a case of good first round and poor second round with the team going down week in week out. the team has not recorded a win in the last six games with three losses and three draws. Top four for Warriors now look a dream too far.
