Woeful defending costs Warriors three points

A leaking defense cost Kabwe Warriors a vital win over Green Eagles this afternoon as both teams settled for a 2-2 draw in a week 24 fixture played at Railway Stadium.

Green Eagles went ahead in the 17th minute via Anos Tembo who took advantage of poor clearance in the Warriors box with a cool finish.

Magnificent Kabwe Warriors came back fighting Heritier Nkonko heading in the equaliser from a well executed cross from Wayne Museba.

Paul Simpemba scored a wonderful goal catching the Eagles keeper off guard with a center that went into the net.

Halftime Warriors in control and with 45 minutes to play.

Another lapse in defense coated Warriors as Tapson Kaseba equalised after a poor headed clearance by Clement Mwape.
