Kabwe Warriors, Nkwazi play out to draw

Kabwe Warriors and Nkwazi played out to 0-0 draw in a League match played on Saturday Afternoon at the Railway Stadium in Kabwe.

The Magnificent people’s team were looking for a double over Nkwazi having recorded a 1-2 away win in the first meeting in the 2020/21 season.

Warriors were without Aka Mwachiaba, Prince Mumba, Mathews Nkhowani and, Ali Sadiki who were still injured. Jimmy Ndhlovu returned to the team on the substitute bench.

Both teams started on a high note looking for the first opening of in terms of goal scoring opportunities.

Kabwe Warriors had a chance in the 15th minute with Cephas Mulombwa at the far past heading it into Muntanga who for a corner.

on the 25th minute mark, there was a stoppage in play as Twiza went down injured and was replaced by Jimmy Ndhlovu.

There were no goals at the break as both teams seemed to cancel each other out.

Nkwazi dominated the second half in terms of ball possession but it was the home side who nearly took the lead through second half substitute Nester Narjis-Arhab Natasha Lukupa whose shot hit the upright.

In the end both teams settled for a point.
