Warriors qualify for CAF Confederation Cup

Kabwe Warriors Football Club beat Indeni 3-2 on the last day of the season to seal a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup.

A hat trick by Jimmy Ndhlovu made sure Warriors finished in the top Four bracket.

Jimmy Ndhlovu opened the scores in the second minute heading in a Shafik Batambuze cross. Cephas Handavu equalised for Indeni in the 13th minute.

In the 35th coach Ian Bakala made a tactical substitution with Mathews Nkhowani Jr coming on for Nester Narjis-Arhab Natasha Lukupa.

The teams went in the break level. 

The second period began with the Railmen looking for a second goal. But it was the visiting team who took the lead through Martin Dzila in the 61st minute.

Jimmy Ndhlovu levelled the match to 2-2 five minutes later from the penalty spot after a foul in the box on Matthews Nkhowani.

He then completed his hat trick in style with a curling shot into the top corner of the Indeni net to seal all three points for KABWE WARRIORS.
